Is Jesus God? Part 8 - "God is perfect – Jesus was not"

Return to Part 7 - "No God but God – No person is even like God"
Hebrews 2:17 “For this reason he had to be made like them, fully human in every way, in order that he might become a merciful and faithful high priest in service to God, and that he might make atonement for the sins of the people.”
If Jesus is God, where is the need for being fully human? To be fully human means to have no special powers, and to not know everything. Why would he have to be ‘in service’ to God if he is God? God created the entire universe, but can’t forgive sins in God form? He said he was able to save people from sins without Jesus in Isaiah 45:20-22 ? This is a clear contradiction.
Isaiah 45:20-22 “Gather together and come; assemble, you fugitives from the nations. Ignorant are those who carry about idols of wood, who pray to gods that cannot save. Declare and set forth your case; Indeed, let them consult together. Who has announced this from of old? Who has long since declared it? Is it not I, the LORD? And there is no other God besides Me, A righteous God and a Savior; There is none except Me. “Turn to Me and be saved, all the ends of the earth; For I am God, and there is no other.”
No one can save anyone except God, because God says that he is the savior, and the only God, and that there are none except him, and to turn to HIM to be saved! God was forgiving sins before Jesus was born, and he can continue to do it without the help of Jesus. This totally eliminates need for a crucifixion of Jesus!
Malachi 3:6 “For I am the LORD, I change not”
This verse in conjunction with the one above shows that God doesn’t need to change to forgive mankind, he is perfectly capable of doing it without changing. This also brings up the questions about the body of Jesus as well. If he was God in human form, then that means if he circumcised himself or cut hair or nails, etc…then does it vanish or lift up to heaven, or decompose on the earth? If he is God, it shouldn’t remain on earth, if he was truly human form (See Hebrews 2:17 below), then it would, and would thus mean that he changed his physical being. (See section of this article called “God is not a man” for more supporting evidence to this).
God even says he doesn’t change his mind.
Numbers 23:19 “God is not human, that he should lie, not a human being, that he should change his mind. Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill?” (NIV)
So why would he change his mind and later on decide he needed Jesus? Isn’t that God changing his mind?
Qur’an 3:55 “[Mention] when Allah said, "O Jesus, indeed I will take you and raise you to Myself and purify you from those who disbelieve and make those who follow you [in submission to Allah alone] superior to those who disbelieve until the Day of Resurrection. Then to Me is your return, and I will judge between you concerning that in which you used to differ.”
Allah saved Jesus and raised him to heaven, because he had promised him that he would never allow harm to come to him (Psalms 91:10-15 ), saving him from the torture and the crucifixion. Allah says that he (Allah) will be the judge. (Note: In the story of the crucifixion, Jesus cried out and pleaded for God to save him in Matthew 27:46 . If he didn’t save him from that, then it makes God a liar towards Jesus according to this passage.)
Qur’an 4:157 “And [for] their saying, "Indeed, we have killed the Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary, the messenger of Allah." And they did not kill him, nor did they crucify him; but [another] was made to resemble him to them. And indeed, those who differ over it are in doubt about it. They have no knowledge of it except the following of assumption. And they did not kill him, for certain.”
Jesus was a messenger and prophet of God. He was not crucified, nor killed. Allah can forgive sins without killing an innocent.
Qur’an 4:171 “O People of the Book! Commit no excesses in your religion: Nor say of Allah aught but the truth. Christ Jesus the son of Mary was (no more than) a messenger of Allah, and His Word, which He bestowed on Mary, and a spirit proceeding from Him: so believe in Allah and His messengers. Say not "Trinity": desist: it will be better for you: for Allah is one Allah: Glory be to Him: (far exalted is He) above having a son. To Him belong all things in the heavens and on earth. And enough is Allah as a Disposer of affairs.”
Allah is not having a trinity, as he does not need help. Jesus was a messenger (given the word of God) and prophet. Allah is one without partners, nor does he have a son. He can manage things by himself, he can dispose of, or forgive sins without help from anyone.
Qur’an 6:102 “That is Allah, your Lord; there is no deity except Him, the Creator of all things, so worship Him. And He is Disposer of all things.”
There is no deity – only Allah. Allah is capable of forgiving sins by himself as he is the disposer of all things. (Meaning no helpers or other forms of Allah).
